Spectre Divide core game mode operates on classic Bomb Defusal rules. This article will show you the Bomb Defusal rules for Spectre Divide.
- Teams compete in a series of rounds, with each team fighting to reach 8 rounds won before their opponents.
- All matches are a maximum of 14 rounds long and casual matches will end in a tie if both teams win 7 rounds.
- After 7 rounds have been played, teams swap sides. Attackers become Defenders and vice versa.
- Each rounds starts with a 40 second long Buy Phase where both teams can purchase weapons, armor, and abilities.
- During Buy Phase you can press [M] to open your map and quickly reposition yourself around the map with left and right click.
- After Buy Phase concludes, the round will begin with a timer counting down 120 seconds.
- One team plays as the Attackers and start with a special device called the ZEUS.
- Attackers can win rounds in two ways:
- Eliminate all enemy players before the round timer runs out.
- Carry the ZEUS to one of the areas labeled A-Site or B-Site on the map, plant the ZEUS on the site, and protect the ZEUS from the Defenders for 50 seconds.
- The other team plays as the Defenders and fight to prevent the Attackers from detonating the ZEUS.
- Defenders can win rounds in three ways:
- Eliminate all enemy players before the round timer runs out.
- Prevent the Attackers from planting the ZEUS on A-Site or B-Site before the round timer runs out.
- Defusing the ZEUS after it’s been planted on a site. Defusing takes 7 seconds and defuse progress is saved at the halfway point.
